Googling Old Friends
So last night Sandy and I were using Google to try and find a resort to stay at this summer. After a while we decided to stop looking and starting calling around to see about reservations, but before dropping offline we started searching for people we knew. . .
A search for Tricia McBrayer found http://www.triciamcbrayer.com which is offline, or never existed. Who knows. I probably do a lookup on Tricia every few months just to see if she has something out there. So far a search on Tricia McBrayer does not yield any good hits, except for her old workplace, the Minnesota Campaign Finance Board. A search for Eric McBrayer yields a few hits on some internet forums, but nothing too exciting. I have never personally met Eric McBrayer, only talked to him on the telephone one time.
Sandy searched for Joe Shah and didn't find too much. Joe works at an upscale liquor store, and I did find this morning that he has some picks for good drinking at http://www.southlyndaleliquors.com/picksdetails.htm. Interestingly enough, Joe recommends Reyka Vodka from Iceland. He says that "Filtration through volcanic rock gives Reyka a clean, lemony and slightly peppery flavor." Interesting.
