Google SketchUp

Yesterday I saw that Google had come out with a new tool called SketchUp for use with Google Earth. It's basically a tool that allows people to design a building or an object and place it on Google Earth so that others using Google Earth can see where they live. At least that's how I look at it. I downloaded the tool and went through the tutorial. And last night I created my house. I also created our bathroom so Sandy and I could play with different colors for when we repaint.

Anyway, I uploaded the model of my house to Google's SketchUp servers and you can find it by searching on "split level."

Here is the bathroom, which was NOT uploaded to SketchUp. By the way, this tool was easier to use to model my bathroom than the tools provided by Kohler and Benjamin Moore on their websites. The toilet looks pretty basic, but designing this room only took about 10 minutes.
