Well not alot to say here,I actually have on going training that I teach the sales department on how to overcome this. Its kind of like the radar detector and the police one keeps trying to out do each other. P.S I have posted pics on my blog
Jim - good point on the radar detector reference. Personally, I always feel that after I buy something, I have to remember not to comparison shop.
Maybe the best thing to do is figure out what you are willing to pay for a car, have the money, go to the dealership, and say, here's the car I want, and here's what I'm willing to pay.
The car companies make it hard for people when they don't define the price outright, but maybe for large ticket items, that's hard to do? I guess I don't see why though.
