The Star Wars Happy Chicken

Last night after the boys went to bed and Sandy went to Hy-Vee, Annika wanted to play with a Star Wars X-Wing fighter and it's Luke Skywalker action figure. Here are some of the things she said while we were playing:

  • She was trying to get the light saber to fit in Luke's hand while he was in the cockpit. It didn't work. She tried a few different positions but nothing worked. Then I tried to get it to work, but she took the light saber away from me and said "There are no bad people here anyway."

  • She was trying to put a little white and red chicken into the cockpit of the X Wing. In explaining why Luke needed this, she said,"He needs his happy chicken. It helps him fly."

  • Later she realized that she could not fit the chicken in with Luke and she said,"There's no room for chicken."
Star Wars has never been so enjoyable.
