Beware the Ides of March
Today I'm feeling pretty punchy. Last night Sandy sent me out to get some cold medicine and NyQuil. I took a pull of it when I got home and went down to polish off a few more levels of Call of Duty. I put the cat away, I thought, and went to bed. Had a strange dream where I was in an IBM meeting about Linux, and in the meeting, I broke my glasses into a dozen pieces. When I woke up, I was on the wrong side of the bed and the cat was in our room and the door was closed. The cat door downstairs was open. I have no idea what happened.
I was asked yesterday if I wanted to move to a team supporting the Virtualization Engine for iSeries. It would mean learning something completely new. I don't know if I want to do it, as I feel I have progressed pretty well in print, but the new group does involve the use of Linux and other newer technologies, and iSeries print is pretty. . .established. I will have to think about it, and even then there is no guarantee that I'll get the job. I kinda thought that I would focus on blogging at IBM this year, and I think that moving to a whole new area would just take most of my time learning that area.
Tonight we'll go over to my Mom's for dinner. Last night we had dinner at a child's birthday party. It was nice to see all the other kids in the neighborhood we didn't know were around.

The last two postings have used the phrase "polish off a few more levels." Lame.
