Busy Weekend

We had a busy but very pleasant weekend.

Friday night we kinda kicked it at home. Before I finally went to cleep I went down and polished off a couple more levels on a Call of Duty game that my cousin Matt lent me, and ended up asleep around midnight-30. Saturday morning we took the kids to the Zollman Zoo in Byron. The changed their hours so now they open at 10 am. No one was there til about 11. All the animals were raring to go. The bald eagles were kinda screeching, the owls were hooting, and the little river otters seemed to be putting on a show. After that we drove home, ate lunch and put the boys to bed. Annika and Sandy then drove over to the theatre to watch Curious George. I stayed at home and puttered around the house and then started watching i Robot. I finished the rest of it that night when we went to bed early. Sunday morning Sandy went up to the Cities and I stayed with the kids. We went to a park in Stewartville but the boys and I spent most of out 40 minutes there waiting outside a porta-potta that Annika had to visit twice. But the park was fun. Then off to Fleet Farm to pick up some long fiberglass rods to shove into the lawn so people don't park on our grass. No matter who people visit in our neighborhood, they don't park in their driveway, but in our lawn. We had the stakes up last year, but the snowplow destroyed them. Next year I'm thinking of sabatoging the plow with concrete blocks or something. Sandy came home from IKEA with a new chair and a joke gift for me - Space Bags! I've wanted them since I saw them years ago. Tried them on a bag of sweaters - they worked great! Now the real test, a bag of clothes that I would actually pack. I rarely pack a sweater when I go on vacation.

World of Warcraft? No, I've never been that good at that genre of game. I'm just not that good at multi-tasking. :-)
