If you see fewer posts. . .

it's because I don't post much anymore. This may change at any time. But PLEASE feel free to look through our Flickr stream (over on the right), which is updated almost every day.

Check this out!

Ever wanted to read a book? But you didn't own it? Like, it was like too expensive? I mean why buy a book when you are just going to read it once! Duh!

Why not do what everyone else is doing. Just borrow the book!

What, from the library? Egads are you daft? Who has time to go to the library and browse through the wonderful racks of books and magazines?? You should be using that time for reading!

Don't use the library ever again! Wow!!!

Check out Bookswim!

I should say that I think this is a totally STUPID idea. Libraries are a wonderful place -- browsing the stacks, finding a quiet place to read, getting out and seeing people, being exposed to different viewpoints and reading books you would never pick up just based on the name. Plus, the expense of mailing books around is very cost prohibitive, and a waste of paper/packaging. Our monthly bill for this service woud be like - well over $150 in shipping! We often have 15 book out at a time.
