But between Obama and Clinton, I prefer Obama. That surprises some people, with my women's college background. I voted for Clinton in her NYS Senate run, and I think she's done a decent job for NY and the country.
However, I believe that her presidency would mire the legislature in even more deadly partisan politics than that which it engages in now. I think that Obama, at least as a figurehead for whom to vote, moves away from the traditional baby boomer struggles. Even though I actually prefer Clinton's version of healthcare to his, I think Obama's is more likely to passed. There's something to that.
In the end, I'll vote for whichever one is on the ticket, but I'm a terrible pessimist. I think that the nomination of either of these two will bring out to vote the bigots and hate-filled portion of our country in larger droves than the those of us with an eye toward change.

Overall, I prefer Bill Richardson.

I totally agree with Karen. Obama is my first choice, but I would vote for Clinton if she gets the nomination.
Did any of you see the news yesterday? Someone was holding up a sign at a Clinton rally that said "IRON MY SHIRT."
Nice, huh?
Oh, and I really like Richardson too, but I know he'll never get the nomination. Personally, I could see him running on a ticket with Clinton.
A dumb guy hasn't worked; let's elect a smart woman!
