What is up with Easter?

This year the date of Easter is kinda messed up, and many people have been asking me why. Well folks, here it is:

1. Easter must be celebrated by all Christians throughout the world on the same Sunday.
2. This Sunday must follow the fourteenth day of the paschal moon.
3. The paschal moon is the full moon whose fourteenth day followed the vernal equinox.

So, um, there you go.

Also, to further confuse people you can tell them that Easter occurs 40 days after Carnival.
